Little Pixie didn't have the best start in life but she's making up for it now! This sweet girl was trapped in a colony of undomesticated cats that relied on a compassionate person for food every day. She's estimated to be about a year old. She was spayed and is now in a foster home awaiting her forever home. She's been pampered and loved. Pixie is a little less confident with new people and unfamiliar environments because of her initial experiences. This baby loves to play, and she loves to be petted. Willie (DSH) and Isaac (DMH) are a bonded duo who started their journey when they were trapped at Winged Deer Park. Fast forward to today - they've completely transformed into genuine Velcro kitties! These brothers adore being wherever you are whether that's hanging out on the couch or "helping' with chores. Both are happy to flop over for tummy rubs, and they have blossomed into confident, affectionate cats who are ready for their forever home - together, of course! They are being fostered in a loving home with two senior cats and will be fully vetted upon adoption.

Milkshake landed in a local shelter that was not equipped to handle a tiny kitten that was presenting with some health issues and was at risk of euthanasia. As it turns out, he didn't have any chronic health issues. As an only kitten during his quarantine period, he was a bit of an adorable menace, classic single kitten syndrome. Thankfully quarantine is over and he has joined other kittens. He is adjusting well and behaving like a normal kitten. He is very active but also enjoys a good cuddle. He tested negative for both feline leukemia and FIV.

Dwayne was living in an unmanaged colony in a busy, unsafe, and unsanitary area. He is such a friendly fellow he just walked right into the carrier. He is an absolute lover and just wants to be with people. He has been health tested and is negative for feline leukemia and FIV+.

Scarlett was a community cat living with her kittens in the VoidToast Colony before she moved into rescue on Halloween. Her two babies raised and adopted; it's her time to shine. Scarlett gets along well with the other cats in her foster home. She loves lounging at the top of the cat tree for her daily bird watching. She's playful but also enjoys snuggling in the bed with her foster family. She tested negative for both feline leukemia and FIV.

Diego started out life as a tiny kitten born to a mama with no milk supply. He and his 3 siblings were placed with bottle feeders. They all grew big and were ready for adoption. Diego was adopted then returned 3 years later because of a divorce. He was shattered by the loss of his family but had recovered in a loving foster home. Diego's fatal flaw is that he's a counter surfer & believes he should be included in all your meals. Other than that he is a perfect cat. Loves to snuggles and gives the best hugs. Still incredibly playful like a kitten. Diego would do well in a home with cats & dogs but would also be fine as an only cat.

Nakia was living in the Black Panther Colony with her mother and siblings. They were all brought into rescue. He mom and brothers all found their place but she is still looking. From the beginning she was always the most reserved. She has a striking coat and loves to be admired. She does enjoy snuggling in the bed and petting when she is snuggled in. We are looking for a special family that will go at her pace. Her mother was health tested and was negative for both feline leukemia and FIV.

Rosita was born in a managed colony to a community cat. Initially shy and uncomfortable around humans, through her foster family she has become a very confident and loving young lady. Although officially no longer a kitten, she is just as playful and active. She gets along well with all the other animals in her foster home. Rosita is the last of the Sesame Street gang to be adopted. Wouldn't you agree it's definitely her time?

Sammy Hagar was found alone in a housing community just asking for a little help. While he LOVES playing with the other cats & kittens in his foster home, he is also VERY people focused. He enjoys being held and purrs pretty much all the time. He's your typical easy going ginger so while he hasn't been around dogs, we do think he would adjust to a home with a cat friendly dog. Sammy Hagar tested negative for both feline leukemia and FIV.

Carrot Cake joined rescue at about 8 weeks old when she, her mama, and her 3 siblings were trapped behind a local cookie shop in April. Dubbed the Insomnia Cookie kittens, Carrot Cake is looking for her furrever. She is a reserved girl that loves other cats most. Her favorite activity is chasing the red dot.  Her mom was combo tested and is negative for both feline leukemia and FIV.

Samuel L Jackson AKA Motherfunkel has lived all his life in a large managed colony called VoidToast. He was TNR'd in November 2024 as part of an initiative by the Washington County Animal Shelter. This oh so friendly boy found himself injured back in the Spring 2025 likely due to a kick from a human. As soon as we had a foster open up we knew we had to pull him indoors for his own safety. He has acclimated well to indoor living. Loves his wet food and petting. Purrs non stop. His tail is slightly shorter due to an injury when he was younger and has an adorable white spot on the end. He tested negative for both feline leukemia and FIV.

Callie came to us at about a week old. Mama was nowhere to be found, and a friend of the rescue called up, desperate for help with bottle babies. Today, Callie and her sibling are thriving. She has almost finished her vetting and will be ready for her spay very soon. She is available as foster-to-adopt but she cannot go alone as she needs a playmate.

Stormi is approximately 2 years old. She was seen outside in a friend of our foster's yard, on a stormy evening. They pieced together that the older gentleman who owned her must have moved or passed away and she was abandoned. After some food and shelter persuasion, she went into a carrier. From there, she was taken to the vet, and her new life began.
